Begin with the Goal in Mind
Today, Hobsons announced a significant milestone in supporting students in the U.S. as early as kindergarten. Children are naturally curious about the world around them and the possibilities it holds. Yet many students are not given exposure to higher education and career opportunities, nor do they see how what they're doing in school is relevant to their future. Naviance for Elementary School aims to change that.
Aligned to standards set forth by the American School Counselor Association for developing mindsets and behaviors for student success, the new solution will extend the value of Naviance within school districts by supporting self-discovery, career exploration and academic planning for students in K-5.
Naviance for Elementary School helps ensure equitable exposure to college knowledge and career exploration by helping students better understand who they are, learn about educational and career paths, and develop the skills to be successful in school and beyond.

8 年Wow, I did not expect to see Naviance as a tool for elementary school; however, it makes perfect sense. Staff in K-12 schools have expressed concern over the years that students don't have strong tools to teach organization and planning from the student perspective. Great news for future young student success!
