We can’t be in the same room anytime soon
Coronavirus has put an end to live training for the foreseeable future. Traditional training is unlikely to happen for most of 2020. However, we still need to improve our skills and learn new ideas. The best way to learn new strategies is to work in a group and receive live feedback from the trainer. Can this really be done online?
Introducing live online training
I’m planning on creating some of my online courses live online. Here’s how it works:
- Maximum of eight people on a session
- Interactive discussions and exercises all moderated by me
- Each workshop will consist of two sessions of three hours and twenty minutes, including a short break. The two sessions will be run on different days
- Workshops can be scheduled to suit all time zones
If there is sufficient interest, I will run these sessions as open workshops. You will be able to attend as an individual. However, I will also run these as closed courses for individual companies with larger teams on request.

Initially, I plan to offer the following courses:

How much are the courses?
I plan to offer this training at £179/$275 per workshop (ie two sessions of 3h15 each). There will also be a premium version with personal feedback on post-course exercises and an e-mail help line. The LinkedIn course is likely to be £325/$400 and be three sessions rather than two.
What’s the next step?

There is zero commitment at this point: I just need to see what interest there is before taking things further. I need a minimum of five people to run a workshop, but I can happily put together five individuals from different companies.
