Introducing my new LinkedIn newsletter!

Business Coach & Mentor for Designers, Copywriters & Creative Pros. Let me help you get better clients with bigger budgets.
Hello from Savannah!
I’m sure you’ve heard me say how my business is a lab, which means it’s where I test new ideas and marketing strategies.
So it’s time to test a LinkedIn newsletter — as a bonus to the Quick Tips?email newsletter I’ve been sending out for more than 20 years!
Why a LinkedIn Newsletter … and Why Now?
I’ve been singing the praises of LinkedIn newsletters for some time now — even before I had one — because I knew it would be an easy (possibly the easiest) way for many of my clients to get their content marketing going.
It’s an especially good “starter newsletter” because … with LinkedIn, you don’t have to:
After settling on a strategy that fits this new newsletter into my larger content marketing plan (which includes The Marketing Mentor Podcast , my YouTube channel and my blog ), I decided to jump in.

Do you know the secret to getting engagement on LinkedIn? (Hint: It's all about questions, like I just asked you!) Watch this video (above) and read the companion article on my blog, LinkedIn Hack: A Simple Way to Get People Commenting .
If you struggle with your email newsletter, this podcast episode is for you. I talked with the very funny Michael Katz , a marketing consultant specializing in newsletters, about what LinkedIn offers and the perennial question I get from writers and non-writers alike: "What the heck should I write about?"
Want to Be My Lab Partner?
Does using LinkedIn overwhelm you? Not sure what to say when you post a comment? Curious to know how long your profile's Title and About sections should be? Or, maybe you want to start your own LinkedIn newsletter?
Let me be your guide. Follow along with my Quick LinkedIn Tips lab as I share "painless ways to grow your creative business with a little LinkedIn magic." (Thanks to everyone who gave feedback on the tagline for this!)
You‘ll see how this newsletter complements (without duplicating) my other content marketing activities. Just like with any marketing channel or tactic, there are pros and cons to building a newsletter on LinkedIn. I’ll be sure to cover those too. For now, I’m 105% sold on LinkedIn newsletters!
Last thing: Don’t worry. Even if you read my email newsletter, Quick Tips , which reaches more than 24,000+ people, I promise you’ll find value in this one, too.
Catch you next month in my marketing lab!
