Introducing "For The Love Of Sports"; my new blog series
It’s time for a change! My newsletter/blog is expanding. Under the new name “Rigsbee’s Rumbles,” I will be analyzing the cross-section between marketing and finance, as well as marketing and sports.
Over the last 9 weeks, I have written a blog/newsletter called “Mad Men On Wall Street,” amassing over 245 subscribers along the way. I have really enjoyed having the opportunity to share my thoughts on the cross-section between marketing and the finance world, but today, I will be switching gears.
Starting next week, I will be adding a new blog/newsletter into the mix called “For The Love Of Sports,” where I will examine social media, marketing and advertising trends and techniques in the sports industry.?
As many of you know, I interned with the New York Rangers Social + Digital Team as a student associate last summer. In this role, I had the opportunity to do a lot of cool things in the social and marketing realm, as well as learn about the importance of tools like social media, marketing, and advertising to ticket and merchandise sales, fan engagement, and more.
In this blog, I will take you through all the things I have learned, done and witnessed at the Rangers, as well as things I continue to learn in the space. I hope you will join me on this adventure.

My goal with this blog is to highlight successful sports marketing campaigns and social media posts. There are so many new marketing techniques that are emerging out of the sports industry, and I want to be your guide to understanding how many companies are leveraging these techniques to change the way people, young and old, involve themselves in sports. I will use real-world examples of how some of the top brands in the sports industry are using game-changing social media and marketing techniques.
