Presenting the latest cutting-edge appliance from ILVE, the INDD94 Induction Cooktop with Integrated Downdraft. With decades worth of knowledge in manufacturing range hoods paired with innovative induction cooktop technology, this design is a fusion of cooking and ventilation.?

The design features an integrated open and closing flap that, when in use, allows for optimum efficiency and when closed, it prevents odours from escaping and stops objects from entering the ventilation cavity. The flap’s outer surface is made from the same toughened glass as the cooking surface, making it easy to clean and creating a seamless look. For a deep clean, the glass flap can also be removed completely. All liquids, including grease and condensation, are collected in an internal catchment tray complete with a drain valve.

In true ILVE style, the integrated downdraft is created with the latest ventilation & safety technology and includes an electronic sensor that warns when the liquid tray is full and, for safety, stops motor operation until it has been emptied. The motor is located in the kitchen plinth at the base of the kitchen, making it quieter and easier for the induction top to be serviced without having to remove the hob from the benchtop. The motor & ventilation channel design itself ingeniously has a 360° rotation meaning it can be applied to any kitchen design with the ducting outlet purposely made to fit into the kitchen kick panel.?

The induction cooktop is equipped with 4 independent cooking zones as well as zone bridging for 2 larger zones with the safety of a residual heat indicator. Although the cooking zone does not heat up directly, infrared heat is transmitted to the pan so after switching off the zone, the display shows an illuminated ‘H’. Intuitive touch control with finger slide heat adjustment as well as helpful features like simmer, heat boost and zone timers mean that this cooktop can handle any style of cooking. The design allows the kitchen to have a seamless design removing the common but sometimes intrusive range hood by combining two appliances into one neat appliance.
