With an increasing demand of independent artists and songwriters looking to fund their music careers without the intervention of a label taking a slice of the pie, sourcing additional revenue streams outside of distribution is essential for the survival of the independent music scene.?

We are delighted to announce we have expanded our offerings and officially launched Horus Music Publishing , a music publishing administrative service open to any songwriter or publishing rights holder. Hosting a simple and easy platform, Horus Music Publishing enables users to handle their distribution and publishing needs right within our bespoke ‘My Client Zone’ technology.

Our brand-new custom-built platform ‘My Music Publishing Zone’ has allowed Horus Music Publishing to form direct partnerships with key PRO’s globally, meaning more efficient administration of artist and songwriters’ music publishing rights.

Why do you need music publishing?

Publishing is an essential revenue stream for artists of all calibres, but for independent artists, it can be exceptionally lucrative and often left unclaimed. With many artists unaware they can earn publishing royalties for their distributed music alongside pay-outs from their distributor, thousands of artists are leaving money on the table and missing out on valuable income. Music publishing can provide artists and songwriters extra earnings through the likes of registering live show set lists, radio plays and so much more; simply by signing up with a music publisher.

• It’s also important to note it is not mandatory to be signed up to a PRO to work with Horus Music Publishing. We can still process your catalogue and collect royalties for you without being registered with a PRO.

This also includes downloads and streams from DSP’s, but is in addition to the royalties you receive from your distributor. - Lyric royalties – generated whenever your lyrics are reproduced on services like Instagram, Spotify, Apple Music and Google search.

Horus Music Publishing is available for both individual songwriters and companies who represent publishing rights. You don't need to be signed up to our distribution service to use our publishing system.

We offer two types of monthly subscriptions:

If you are looking to manage your publishing for just one artist or songwriter, then our songwriter package is perfect for you. For just ￡3 per month, you will be able to upload your catalogue solely for this project. If you are in a band, each member will need to purchase their own subscription in order to claim their share of the royalties.

Starting from just ￡5.50 per month, this will enable you to upload your catalogue for multiple artists and projects, meaning you can manage all your publishing needs under one account.
