Introducing Holly to the team, and to Manchester.

Originally from Cheltenham, having also lived in Paris, London and Bristol, the grey skies of industrial Manchester welcome new team member Holly with open (and very rainy) arms.

What's prompted your move to J'adore?

Coming from over four years booking commercially at Mustard Models in Bristol, I was ready for a fresh challenge with another agency in a new city. My previous role was super varied; so alongside booking I was also able to assist on a number of shoots, help with the training of new staff and organise in-house castings in London and Bristol. As many fashion brands already call Manchester home, I imagine there to be a strong focus on the city’s identity and showing that off to the rest of the world. Manchester is known for its personality and I can't wait to start working with that talent.

What most excites you about your new role?

I’m really looking forward to getting to know the team, working with the diverse range of models they represent and building relationships with a whole new client base. I’m excited to build up the agency’s classic boards and find fresh talent in Manchester and beyond, to help diversify J'adore further. The use of classic models has already been a welcome area of growth over the past few years, so I hope brands will want to continue to build on this with more and more opportunities to represent all types of models.

What have you learned about the city of MCR since being here?

It has such beautiful architecture and canals and I love the fact you can find a pretty cheap pint! What tips would I give to a new member of staff starting a new job role in a new city?I suppose I'd say to walk around the city as much as possible, chat with strangers and don’t be afraid to ask for advice, recommendations and directions! 

What do you love about model booking and tell us something that we might not guess about you.

I used to live in Paris where I ran a writing group! What do I love? I really love the feeling of securing the right job for the right model - that's honestly amazing and I love that each day is always wildly different from the last.
