Introducing Helen Alkfors

As SMC continues to expand, we are excited to introduce Helen Alkfors, our dedicated Head of HR for the Nordic and Baltic countries. Helen, who joined us in November 2024, is the first employee to focus exclusively on HR, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to our growing team.

Can you describe the responsibilities of your new role?

My role is both strategic and hands-on. For NBC I lead the development and implementation of HR strategies. But I also work with unifying work processes and addressing employee matters. Always with our employee’s wellbeing and engagement in focus.

What is the most exciting product /product range at SMC?

Our training eqiupment! I love the possibility and opportunity to have our products presented and used to develop high skilled people, mostly by schools. It’s fantastic to have tomorrow’s engineers knowing our SMC brand, our products and our great skills already from the start of their career.
