Introducing the Heated & Drained Pitot-Static Probe
Ice and Rain? Not a problem.
We are pleased to announce that the newest member of our extensive line of probes is the Heated & Drained Pitot-Static probe. This addition comes by popular demand and we are thrilled to deliver an innovative, superior product.
Overcome Environmental Limitations
Pitot-Static probes are used to measure total and static pressure to derive airspeed and altitude and are commonly used for flight applications. With traditional pitots, ice and rain are serious environmental factors that can wreak havoc on data quality. The Heated & Drained Pitot-Static Probe overcomes these obstacles. Anti-icing heaters melt accumulating ice on the probe and carefully-engineered drains quickly take rain out of the equation.
Highly Compatible
When integrated into an existing system, the Heated & Drained Pitot-Static Probe offers better reliability in a range of weather environments. When paired with our Micro Air Data Computer (μADC), the same probe becomes part of an unrivaled system for air data acquisition.
A Name You Can Depend On
All of our products are manufactured by our team of highly-skilled and experienced engineers and this new addition is no exception. Heated & Drained Pitot-Static Probes are crafted from rugged brazed stainless steel and guaranteed to be durable and reliable. Custom geometries are available and our expert team will work with you to determine the best options for your application.
