Imagine if your business travelers could start their day in a new city by running or brisk walking past landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, or the Opera House as the sun rises, in the company of a local guide and other professionals.?

They hit the hotel breakfast, loading up on fruit, granola, and oatmeal – the beauty of chain reactions.

Later in the morning, they arrive at the office or that super important sales meeting - motivated and pumped for the day, with a conversation starter unlike any other.

Their run will likely be shared on social media, raving about their tour and your company's travel program.

In the evening, they visit a super local restaurant recommended by their guide during the run, enjoying a local dish that takes their taste buds to paradise.

Upon returning home, they're finally able to share with family and colleagues an experience of a city. Their family is happy that their time away has been rewarding and energizing.

Next time they have to travel for business, they're excited and can't wait! Bring on those travel days.?

Maybe even the spouse wants to join!...

------------

Or, let's consider the other scenario (admittedly a bit extreme to make a point).

The night before the important meeting, your traveler takes another drink at the bar. Because - why not, the meeting isn't until 11 am.

The next morning, they're heavy-headed due to poor sleep and perhaps that last unnecessary drink. They think eggs and bacon will no doubt cure the heavy head.

They arrive at the meeting and do a good job. After consuming their third cup of coffee, it's time to hit the inbox and follow-up actions. It's all a bit overwhelming, so concentration and focus are difficult.

In the evening, they order room service because it's Russian roulette.

Upon returning home, when asked about the city they visited, the answer is, "I have no clue - I saw the airport, the taxi, the hotel, and a meeting room." The family is disappointed to welcome a tired and demotivated person home.

Next time they travel for business, they take a deep breath and just get on with it.

Because it's part of the job. Nothing else!
