Introducing "Future Now Consulting"
Today is the first anniversary of the start of my post-IBM life. It is still a little hard to believe, and I still have to catch myself when joining conference calls that ask for my company name or when I am crossing the border and need to tell them what I do for a living. The year has flown by….but what a year it has been! It has been a year of extraordinary learning and growth for me, one where I have learned as much about myself as I have about what I want to do. I am a very different (and I hope better) person and professional than I was at this time last year.
This past year, I have had the opportunity to work with some great teams and I want to thank the leaders of those teams – Sanjay, Bill, and Errol in particular– and the CEOS of my Advisor companies – Somen, Jim, Jerry and Rob – for all they have taught me, the contacts they have given me, and the inspiration they have provided to me to pursue the passion I have found in doing this work these past few months. I am 100% convinced now that my next career stage is going to focus on helping great companies, that are ready for growth, achieve their goals.
With that in mind, I am happy to introduce you to my newly branded business Future Now Consulting. With FNC, I plan to continue applying my rather unique experience set to helping my clients not only figure out where they want to go but to begin now to put the pieces in place that will allow them to achieve that future…their Future Now!
Right now, FNC is just me, but I am working on some affiliations that will expand the scope on both sides of the border and internationally, and to bring more skills sets to bear for my clients. I am also lucky to have a sub-contracting relationship with some great companies that are providing capital and expertise to growth companies.
Please check out my new website www.futurenowconsulting.com and give me your feedback and ideas, either as comments here, through a DM, or via email to [email protected].
I will continue in my role as Executive Director of the Windsor Essex Angel Network (WECAN) as announced last month. I am loving it!
Thanks to all of you for your support!
