"Confessions" is set in the vibrant heart of Harlem, New York, and follows the life of Alana Daniels, a successful matchmaker for Black love who ironically struggles to find love herself. Alana's transparency about her life and experiences is shared openly on social media and her podcast, "Ain't No Love Lost." The series delves into Alana's complex relationship with her father, her past romantic entanglements, and the challenges she faces as she confronts her past to achieve her goals.

Through Alana's assertive and driven character, and the support of her close friends, audiences navigate the complexities of modern relationships while confronting issues of systemic dysfunction and historical TV. Temese also hosts the real podcast "Ain't No Love Lost," which is an integral part of the TV series. Jordan Battiste, a Producer, DP, Editor, and Director, joins Temese in this passion project. Together, they are dedicated to highlighting the significance of Black love and family in our community.
