Introducing Comet, a free tool to help you manage your career & job search

Track job opportunities, prepare for interviews, update your resume & more, all in one place.
I've been building a tool to help people manage their careers—with a big emphasis on finding their next job—and with all of the layoffs announced this month, it feels like now's the time to make it available.
It's called Comet, it's built on?Notion, and it's free—though you have the option of paying whatever amount you feel is fair, including $0. (I put a "suggested" one-time price of $4 because I'd like to think I built something worth paying for, but it's totally cool if you don't want to pay anything—I'm mostly interested in learning what people think of it).
It focuses on a few things:
Managing all of your job opportunities
For a lot of people, the job search process is a numbers game, and the more jobs you apply to, the more likely you'll get one you love. But that also means keeping track of lots of different jobs with lots of different people, interactions, and details. Comet helps you manage all of that in a kanban-style board where you can organize them by what stage you're at in the process.
Preparing for job interviews
Most candidates show up for job interviews totally unprepared. Comet provides a "preparation template" you can use for each interview/interaction that walks you through the preparation process—what research to do, what questions to prepare, and how to showcase what you've accomplished.
Keeping your resume updated and log your work achievements
When it comes time to updating their resume, most people struggle to remember the specific results they achieved or things they accomplished—yet those are the details most important to hiring managers. Comet makes it easy to record your work achievements and bucket them into "themes" so you can clearly demonstrate the value you'd bring to a new employer.
Now, a few things to note:
Oh, and it would be awesome if you were to Like, Comment, AND Share this post—I think this tool could really help a whole lot of people, and the more engagement a post gets, the more distribution LinkedIn gives it.
Thanks!
