Introducing: The Club

Why were you posting silhouettes everywhere last week?

Hey folks – over the last week, you probably saw us posting the (Smash Bros Themed) silhouettes, alluding to what was called, The Club.

Today, three elite sellers form The Club: Charly Johnson, Sarah Brazier, and Morgan Ingram.

Here's the TLDR if you wanna stop reading now.

?? Two people can only make so much *good* content.

?? When shows start adding more people, content usually goes *bad*.

?? So we have to say no to a lot of content y'all ask for.

To solve for this. The Club will:

?? Be formed by top 1% sellers that 30MPC fans already love.

?? Add members painfully slowly, no more than 1x per quarter.

?? Create exclusive 30MPC content, beginning with Club Playbooks tomorrow.

For everyone else, let’s dive in. Starting with the impetus for this all…

The wonderful problem you've created for us

It brings a single tear to my eye when you all ask for a leadership podcast, book series, or Youtube / TikTok channel, and we have to say no.

The sad reality is that we have a finite amount of time to create top 1% content and we refuse to put out anything that isn’t top 1% content.

So most folks add cast members, which is when the content?goes south:

• They suck: New cast members aren’t as good.
• Too many too fast: It feels like a participation trophy.
• It feels random: There’s no rhythm or consistency to familiarizing the audience with the cast.

But some folks do it right. Exhibit A, The Voice:

I originally went on a long rant about The Voice and Nick hated it. So TLDR:

• Cool Formula: The show was awesome because of the unique formula and heavy hitting judges.
• New Judges: They introed new judges early to avoid the deathspin of a veteran judge leaving.
• Better Than The First: Oh no, they replaced Christina + Cee Lo Green with Usher + Shakira.

Big downgrade, right? Wrong.

?The season with the new judges outperformed the previous one.

?The key is adding elite judges that could give the originals a run for their money. And we believe Charly, Sarah, and Morgan could.

The bar for Club Members:

The selection criteria for the opening three club members was very simple:

• Killer Content: They put out best-in-breed sales tactics.
• Elite Sellers: True practitioners who can walk the walk.
• Fan Favorites: Our audience already loves them.

And these 3 check all the boxes above and then some.?

Moving forward, no more than 1 member will enter the club per quarter.

?

The bar will remain high because that is that standard that you all hold to us and we have 0 intentions of breaking that trust. ?

Only Club Members can take on the host role for key 30MPC channels:

?? Podcast: Host a Club Playbook (see below) on the 30MPC podcast.

?? Tactic Teardowns: Host a live Tactic Teardown.

?? Newsletter: Write The Club Fundamentals section of the noozy.

??? And more to come: The Club unlocks a whole lot more content.

And with this, we’re launching Club Playbook Episodes on the podcast.

?

Many of our playbook episodes rank amongst the top 10 most downloaded episodes. So on the 1st Monday of the month, a Club Member will teardown one topic for 10 minutes, playbook style.

?

And as a warm welcome, each member will run a Home Run Lap and take over every major 30MPC channel:

Charly’s leading off April with Cold Emails.

?Sarah’s taking over May with Discovery.

?Morgan’s bringing us home in June with Cold Calls.

?And in July to start Q3, we’ll announce a new member who will do the same.

And Charly’s homerun lap begins tomorrow, when we drop her Club Playbook and have her host the April Tactic Teardown in two weeks:
