Introducing Canmore Single Cask Whiskies

There are over 130 distilleries in Scotland, each one has its own history, production peculiarities and quirks that give unique flavour profiles; some more obvious than others. With three decades of industry knowledge, I have been fortunate enough to have tried (and continue to try!) many exceptional Scotch whiskies. The relationships which I have with certain distilleries have allowed me to independently bottle two of my favourite single malts - bespoke whiskies to me, under our Canmore name. They are both true, reflections of the craftsmanship that you would expect from distillers steeped in the traditions and knowledge of the Scotch whisky industry.

However, there are still many outstanding whiskies that I wish to share with you. Over the last couple of years, the Charles Edge London team have worked to develop a Canmore Single Cask collection. With such rich diversity and styles of whiskies, it was a challenge to narrow down which of those single casks would make it to bottling.

Yet, after numerous tastings both with the team and amongst a few select “outsiders”, we finally selected these unique casks (by no means an easy decision!). I want this collection to showcase some of the finest whiskies from differing distilleries across Scotland (some better known than others), which consumers can truly savour. All with the knowledge that the work and understanding, which has gone into our selection process, ensure your experience of our single cask whisky will be unforgettable. I am very proud and excited by the work my team has done.
