So, clearly over the past few weeks I've been going on and on about something that I had brewing. Folks have hit me up about a ton asking what it is I'm planning. No, I'm not starting my own agency. In fact, what I'm talking about will generate $0 for me personally. It's actually something I just love doing, but now want to move with more intention. I wanted to make the experience much more enjoyable for recruiters, job seekers, and those just watching. That said, I've done enough rambling.

Time to snap into character...

I'd like to introduce my alter ego, Niick Fury. Yes you read that right, I'm Niick Fury with two "i's" (say it out loud if you still don't get it... although if you know nothing about Marvel or the Avengers, here is the cousin I get mistake for).

But, enough about who my family is...

Why are we here?

Well, you see I have a mission. Over my years I've had the pleasure of meeting many amazing superheroes (people) that can truly help brands if only given the chance. However, there are so many superheroes out there, that's it's hard to get in the ring against the likes of Iron Man, Spiderman, or any of the major names. Plus, these amazing people are way too busy saving their own cities to help the other heroes... That's where your boy Niick Fury comes in.

So, this is my declaration that I'm shifting my focus to help some select superheroes find their next mission (placement).

While I know so many amazing superheroes out there looking for their next opportunity, I'm purposely selecting a few to focus on. Now, I already have talked with the heroes I'm going to be focusing on but that doesn't mean I'm ignoring the rest of you. I just wanted to make sure that I'm using my time to show up the best instead of the generic advice I sometimes give to folks due to us only having one 30 min connect.

Just to clarify, I'm not taking anyone else on currently as I've already touched base with this season's Avengers.

The next few months I'll be locked in on the heroes from an aspect of portfolio/reel reviews, resume reviews/advice, mock interviews, shooting missions (opps) that truly align with what they wish to do, and ultimately spotlighting them.

Some of these heroes are comfortable letting the world know their identity, while some heroes still wear a mask (aka some folks I'm helping don't want their current gig to know).

That said, I cannot wait to bring you these heroes, their stories, their powers, and ultimately find them a home. Once each hero has their assignment, we reset with more. This post is long enough so I'll hold off introducing my heroes this season in this article. However, be on the lookout for more soon.
