Introducing The Academy's New Mission Statement

For more than twenty years, The Academy has been privileged to serve leaders at the most innovative health systems and healthcare companies. From day one, we've believed that if you bring together the right people in a trusted environment, the group can help solve critical issues facing the industry. The last few years have demonstrated that sentiment has never been more true.

Today, I'm proud to introduce The Academy's new mission statement, which will guide our work in the years to come: "We Power Our Community to Drive Health Forward"

We Power

Our team selected 'power' because it fundamentally describes how we support our members in everything we do.

In our executive peer groups and leadership development programs, the power lies in creating a space for sharing, learning, and relationship building. Through data and insights, the power comes from our ability to provide a depth of intelligence that goes beyond any single organization. And in our alliances, that power comes from moving beyond conventional approaches to take bold, collective action.

Our Community

As members both old and new can attest, our community is unique in healthcare. Members of The Academy’s community are true peers who feel a special sense of commitment to each other.
