Program Host - Tobias Bieker

Arriving in Japan in 2018, Tobias eagerly explored both the national and Osaka-specific cultures. To Tobias, Osaka now feels like a second home. He enjoys experiencing the changing seasons and the warmth of Osaka's residents. He believes Japan offers many opportunities, though they may not always be visible. To unveil that diversity, he is committed to finding and interviewing foreigners living in Japan.


Program Producer - Andri Magdych

Arriving in Japan in 2017, Andri worked as an English conversation and university English teacher. It wasn’t until 2021 when Andri started working with cameras and he has been active professionally since 2022.

Currently, Andri supervises the production of Unpacking Japan's video and audio versions and creates short-form videos for social media platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. In addition, he manages lighting, camera, and audio.
