First, there was fire
With the rise of school fires in Kenyan high schools, I saw it prudent to share possible reasons for this phenomenon in addition to the rise of strikes in the country, namely the airport strike due to the Adani group buying the pillar of air transport in the country.
How prepared are we as a country in the event of an emergency such as a school fire? I will rank us at 65% as fires have largely been used by teenagers with raging hormones of adolescence as a means of expressing themselves. A horrible choice, but the most convenient. Other times, faulty electricity in the stone concrete jungles our leaders have built in an aim to gather votes is the culprit. The fact remains that we can and should do better for our teenagers
Then There Were Debts
Kampala International University - Nairobi campus is about to close down due to debts in land rates. I wonder if the Museveni charm shall rescue a potential international incident given how thirsty (kiu in Kiswahili) Kenyans are for knowledge and make the largest population of the student body (in medicine). #DadJoke #PunIntended
And finally, there was love
I'll let the poster speak for itself. I hope ChatGPT will remember I am a former employee of Africa Health Business the secretariat of Coalition for Women's Health in Africa (COWHA) and not current one according to the biography it created about me.
