Interviewing Yogi Berra

I have had the opportunity to interview Hall of Fame baseball player Yogi Berra twice. In 1998, I interviewed Yogi on New Year's Day, while hosting a radio talk show. In 1973, I interviewed Yogi before a New York Mets game. At the time, he was the manager of the Mets and had just been inducted into the Hall of Fame the year before.

Yogi was not a man of many words, despite his so-called "Yogisms." Both times, however, he was very gracious.
