Interview With Zeeshan (Google Ads Manager)
1) Where were you born and raised? Also tell us something unique about yourself.
I was born and raised in Lahore, the city of gardens. I started my journey at the age of 16 as an online tutor. Then, at 18, I ventured into Google Ads. It all began when a friend asked me to run Google Ads for him. I wasn't very familiar with it at the time, but through watching tutorials and doing research, I managed to do it.
That experience made me realize that marketing was something I could excel at, and that's how my journey in marketing began.
2) What got you interested in marketing and what was your journey?
I actually started marketing by chance when a friend asked me to run Google Ads for him. After that, I realized that marketing is something every business needs. I also noticed that very few people were doing well with Google Ads, which highlighted a significant market gap to fill. The positive results I achieved always served as an energy booster for me, reinforcing my passion for marketing.
3) What skills and industry do you specialize in?
I am 100% focused on Google Ads!
4) What is your best soft skill?
I am a good problem solver.
5) What softwares and tools do you use regularly?
Google Ads, Pagespeed Insights, Google Ads Transparency, Clarity, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Gemini, Chat GPT and others.
6) What are your goals for the next year and into the future?
My goals for the next year and into the future are to learn Google Ads more deeply, regularly post on LinkedIn about my experiences, and add killer team members to my team.
7) What has been the hardest thing you dealt with in your career path?
The hardest thing I dealt with in my career path was when all my accounts got suspended. That was a nightmare for me.

8) What is the biggest mistake you made that you want others to avoid?
In the beginning, my focus was on client hunting instead of learning. This wasted a lot of my time. I would recommend making yourself a deep expert in your skills, and the clients will approach you.
9) Who are your favorite people in the industry that you follow?
Adriaan Dekker , Bob Meijer , Miles McNair , Floris van Vleuten , Umar Tazkeer and alots of other pros.
10) Who has had the biggest influence on your career to date?
My Family.
11) What has been your favorite course that you taken and why?
Instead of courses, LinkedIn posts have been the best learning resource for me. Here, you can learn directly from industry experts.
12) What would you tell yourself or someone who is just starting out in marketing?
I would tell myself or anyone just starting out in marketing to be consistent. Learn human psychology before diving into marketing, study deeply, start with an internship in a good agency, and always stay passionate.
13) If the entire world was listening to you, what would you have to say?
You can do anything but not everything.
14) Where can we find you?
