An Interview with Twilio's Rajashree Pimpalkhare

Rajashree Pimpalkhare always wanted to be an engineer. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from IIT Bombay and then moved to the U.S. to get her PhD degree in electrical engineering at the University of Maryland. Two years into her PhD, Silicon Valley called — and she hasn’t looked back since.

On this episode of Keep Moving Forward, she takes Caleb Brown back to her early days at Intel, where she witnessed the rise of the Pentium processor, to leading engineering teams at PayPal, Intuit, and now Twilio .

This conversation dives deep into her leadership philosophy, the importance of building a strong engineering culture, and how you can never go wrong when you center on the customer.
