Interviews can seem daunting but you can easily prepare to take some of that stress out of the equation. Still feeling some anxiety? Try getting energy out beforehand. Tips below! (Note: these are also a great trick for group presentations)

  • Put on headphones and listen to your favorite song?
  • Dance around to get out that nervous energy. Fun fact: dancing is known to release endorphins which can help to put you in a happier, my grounded place when you start your interview
  • Meditate. If you don’t know how just close your eyes and breathe deeply in and out 5 times. (link)
  • Remind yourself it is okay to not answer questions right away. If you don’t know something or don’t know which example to give, consider taking a pause. That can help you collect your thoughts before answering.?
