Interview tips for learners

For some of our learners, it has been a while since their last formal interview, so we’ve put together a little cheat sheet for them to keep them on track on the big day.

5 Interview tips for our learners:

  1. Be prepared: Research the company and go over your study notes. Even if you can’t find anyone to help, practice answering some interview questions you think might come up. Do them in the mirror or on webcam. Be ready to provide examples of the skills you’ve learned.
  2. Dress appropriately: Make sure you are dressed professionally for the interview. This will help you make a good first impression and show that you are taking the interview seriously.
  3. Be punctual: Arrive on time or a few minutes early for the interview. Being late will give the person interviewing a bad impression of you.
  4. Show enthusiasm: Express your enthusiasm for the opportunity to work for the company and the position you are applying for. Show that you are motivated to get back to work and are excited about the opportunity.
