Let’s meet?our key account manager, Sten Renar Subat?jus. He will tell us what makes a working environment awesome and why does he prefer to work in the home office?

Why are you in the postal business?

I believe that everything happens for a reason and the same I feel about the postal business. It appeared in my life by accident, to be honest, but I am extremely grateful it did.

It has given me the challenges I have been seeking for and has taught me a lot through the process. It has given me the opportunity to meet many wonderful people around the world, which I am also very thankful for.

Do you prefer sending post by message in a bottle or would you use a pigeon?

Being a lowkey Potter fan, I would prefer having my own owl. Sending a message in a bottle by sea is more interesting and hides some cool adventures in the process for sure, but if we are talking about sending post, then I would like to have more control over the linehaul process, so to say. Owls can be unpredictable as well, but comparing an animal to nature, I would bet on an animal in this case.

Do you prefer working from home or do you like working in the office?

Mainly, I prefer working from home, as I like to be in my zone, so to say. I see myself being more efficient when I put my music on, concentrate and do what needs to be done. On the other note, I am a people person and I need to share the?energy, which means working only from home is not an option.

That is why I am again very grateful to work in PostPlus, as there is a possibility to work either from home or in our nice cozy office.

What is your favourite TV show?

Hard to pick a favourite being a TV-show junkie as I watch TV shows a lot. To bring out some of the best TV shows in my opinion, I would pick these:

Suits – love the hustle and outplaying everybody by being smart, consistent and willing to take big steps if needed.

Blacklist – love the consistent thrill.

You – love the depth of it and the unexpected plot twists.

Game of Thrones – love the visuals, camera work, actors work and the whole story in general.

What is the most important thing in an awesome working environment?

Co-workers for sure, in my opinion. If there is a good chemistry at work, then everything goes smoother, the quality of work is better and work itself will be done more efficiently.

What was the last thing you received by post?

Gym clothes and gym supplements, as I order these a lot from e-shops. I pick the brand I like and it makes it so much easier for me to receive everything I need.

Please describe your main strengths that are associated with work.

Seeing the glass half full, not half empty, I would say. Taking obstacles as challenges to improve in the process and remember – if there is a will, then there is a way.

Football (aka soccer) or basketball?

Since I have played football for over 20 years, then it is a no-brainer for me – football 100%.
