Get your phone.

Put it on a stand and turn it towards you.

Hit record in video mode.

Ask your self these questions and answer them in 2-3 minutes each.

1. What was a time at work you had a disagreement? How did you resolve it?
2. What are you most proud of at work recently?
3. Describe a project you launched and why it succeeded and what issues it had.
4. Why do you want this job?
5. Why should we hire you?

These will be awkward at first. That’s the point.

You want to practice, practice, practice.

Watch the videos. How do you sound?

How many times do you say um?

Is your story clear or are you rambling?

Do you love the answers you gave?

Would you hire someone with those answers?

Do this before your next interview.

Do it a couple of times.

Then do it again.

Do it on a remote video with a friend (or?partner with a HireClub coach for a mock interview???)

Interviewing is a skill like any other. It can be learned and mastered.
