Part I: Embarking On A Plant Based Lifestyle

Middle Ground with JLE L.L.C. Newsletter is Proud to Present our First INTERVIEW!!!!! My First Interview for the newsletter had to be a Member of The Middle Ground Family, Middle Ground with JLE L.L.C. Board of Director Member, Keynote Speaker, Minister, Mental Health Advocate, Talk Show Host, Author and Founder/CEO of HoWELL ARE YOU Cynthia Mobley Howell. I believe my subscribers will enjoy this conversation. I interviewed Cynthia July 22, so I can have a great article for August. Enjoy.

What Made You Do Plant Based Eating Lifestyle Change? Once I reached my mid 50's I had put on some extra weight. While trying to get rid of the weight, I had tried all types of weight loss remedies to lose it. Fasting, going to the gym, different food programs etc.. This led me to the thought why not try a plant based eating and lifestyle change? The rest is history after a few weeks I noticed how I felt and some results then I kept going until now it's my new normal.

What Have Been The Benefits Since Doing Plant Based Eating Lifestyle Change? Wow! One benefit has been Mental Clarity. What I mean is I am more focused. My thoughts more organized, my energy levels is extremely increased. I don't need a nap now compared to before during the day. My immune system is heavily bolstered. My confidence has increased as well. Even my Spiritual Sensitivity has reached new levels. And the weight loss!

What Have Been The Challenges Switching To Plant Based Eating Lifestyle? I would say one challenge is eating out. Even though more restaurants are catering to plant based customers, You get the cravings for what you used to eat. I believe in my opinion, if most of our food is animal based we can make it plant based. Another challenge is the cost of eating plant based food. There is a misnomer in the saying, "plant based food cost more". Some plant based foods are expensive, but it depends on what you are cooking.

What Have Been The Results? I have lost over 50 pounds switching to a plant based eating lifestyle habit. On my journey, I have been able to inspire other people to try this path which led to me launching a Coaching Business as a result from this experience.

Part II: Becoming A Middle Ground with JLE L.L.C. Board of Director Member

When I Asked You To Be A Board Member What Led To You Accepting? First of all, I have been praying to get an opportunity to serve. I didn't know in what capacity I wanted to serve. So, when you(JLE) approached me with the position, I waited for God's confirmation that this is where I need to serve. So I'm here Family! I(JLE) appreciate you accepting Family!

What Have You Learned So Far On The Board? I have learned that serving on a board can contribute to your personal growth and gives you a sense of achievement. I feel like I'm doing something to help further the mission of a good friend who has been given the assignment and he's putting the grind time in to make it a reality. Second thing I have learned, being on a board can position you to connect with influential professionals. As you know I have met some professionals before but connecting with the great professionals apart of the board has expanded my connections and potential business opportunities. Also, being part of a board can provide valuable insights into various aspects of business management and leadership. I have learned quite a bit.

Last Question: What Has Been Your Experience Being Apart Of The Middle Ground Family? Oh My Goodness! Mr. Edwards, "You Are The Man" (Cynthia smiles as saying). Thank you Family. (JLE replies). I remember the First Interview I did with you. When you said your tagline, "Where We Treat You Like Family". A lot of times people have these taglines and they don't line up with what you see. But, when you say "Where We Treat You Like Family", YOU MEAN THAT THING! (We both laugh in agreement). Our First Interview we had technical difficulties, you were saying, " Don't Worry About It We Good". Jeff, you were so calm it made me calm otherwise I would have been freaking out. Getting back to answering your question, "My Experience Being Apart of The Middle Ground Family Has Been PHENOMENAL!" Because of you Jeff. Number one being the CEO of Middle Ground with JLE L.L.C. a person of integrity. (Thank you Family) JLE replies. If you say you're going to do something, you can take it to the bank. JLE operates in a Spirit of Excellence and it caused me to step up my game. And I do feel like we're Family. (Your too kind, thank you.) JLE replies. When we interact on social media I feel the family vibe.

I can only imagine what Middle Ground with JLE L.L.C. will be like in the future. The experience has been Phenomenal. (Thank you for the kind words Family.) JLE replies. Then says, "I thought to myelf I have these Amazing Heavy Hitters on my Board and I'm not letting the world know. I have to get on my business grind and make flyers, in posts make reference to my Board so the world knows. (We both laugh). This not a Mom & Pop Brand/Business. This Middle Ground with JLE L.L.C.
