When I finished recording this interview, my mind was spinning…

I have published over 80 episodes of the Working Without Pants podcast, but every once in a while an interview comes along that makes me rethink everything.

This interview with Pia Silva was one of them.

Pia runs a branding agency called Worst of All Design.

When she started out, she operated her business like everyone else.

She did branding projects, proposals, and chased bigger budgets.

But after a few years, she started burning out and felt like she was fighting an uphill struggle.

At that point, Pia decided to reinvent her business

Instead of fighting for bigger branding projects, Pia and her partner decided to narrow down on a target customer and package up their offering.

Before the change: Pia and her partner worked with clients for months on branding projects going through many back and forth and revisions

After the change: Pia and her partner only worked with clients in 1-2 day intensives where they built the entire brand for the client right there in person.

Oh, and they charge $10k for the intensives!

Now Pia and her partner are booked out with 3-4 intensives each month and have to work under 10 days per month on client work.

That’s $30k-40k in monthly revenue while working way fewer hours! 

And she has no employees! 

…Now you see what I mean.

My mind was blown after talking with Pia.
