Omar Reyes
Freelance Google Ads Specialist | Helping Painting Companies Generate Leads Online
1) Where were you born and raised? Also tell us something unique about yourself.
I was born and raised in Skopje. I moved to Prague and have been living and working here for the past few years. In the last 5 years, I became obsessed with Google Ads and achieved incredible growth both in my career and in my personal life. Last year, I managed to open my own company with two other partners - experts in data science, software and sales.
2) What got you interested in marketing and what was your journey?
Naturally, from a young age, I had a sense related to brand building, creativity, aesthetics and a drive for "big things". Long story short, after over 11 years of organizing corporate events, playing as a musician and taking care of the social media part, I started to dive deeper into Google Ads - aiming to become an expert in this field and nothing else at that moment.
Afterwards, I got the opportunity to be part of a high-paced marketing agency where I learned how to manage 10+ clients effectively which gave me the confidence that I have today.
3) What skills and industry do you specialize in?
Google Ads, business development and conducting partnerships. Top industries: real estate, healthcare, education and gaming.
4) What is your best soft skill?
I’d say emotional intelligence—understanding people’s nature which can help our business in the long run. It's also closely related to conflict resolution, leadership, and networking.
5) What softwares and tools do you use regularly?
Click up, Slack, Gmail, Google Ads, Semrush, Hubspot, Make, and Excel.
6) What are your goals for the next year and into the future?
Personally, to get better in sales and handling my clients. Company wise, early this fall our goal is to launch one big product that we are working on intensively at this moment. Another goal is to successfully manage and put in motion every department at Yups [Marketing, IT, video animation, cyber security, recruiting, building custom products].
7) What has been the hardest thing you dealt with in your career path?
Managing clients along with all the challenges that this journey brings.

10) Who has had the biggest influence on your career to date?

AdOutreach, where I mastered the YouTube ads strategy, marketing funnels, scaling, mindset, target audience, research and custom audience creation which was a turning point for my PPC career.-This course I have gone through more than 6 times, from beginning to end.
12) What would you tell yourself or someone who is just starting out in marketing?
Be the best at one thing first. Be consistent, stubborn, and curious. Visualize your future and create space for yourself wherever you go in the world.
