As More4apps marks its 25th year in business, we had the opportunity to sit down with Co-Founder Brad Sayer to reflect on the company’s journey. In this interview, we asked Sayer to share his favorite customer story. Here’s what he had to say:?

History of More4apps?

Founded in 2000 by a group of Oracle consultants , More4apps was born from a simple lunch meeting that sparked an innovative idea. During their discussion, the consultants realized a shared frustration—data conversion in Oracle projects was time-consuming, error-prone, and posed security risks.

At the time, each consultant had their own SQL loader scripts to manage these tasks. However, the manual process was inefficient. One developer jokingly proposed creating an application to load data directly from Excel into Oracle E-Business Suite, offering a potential solution that would save both time and money.

That half-joking suggestion quickly became a reality. Within months, the team developed a prototype and began testing it with clients. After refining their tool, More4apps officially launched, providing an easy-to-use Excel interface that integrates seamlessly with Oracle systems. Their solution allows businesses to ensure data accuracy and security while simplifying the complex processes associated with Oracle ERP.

Today, More4apps remains privately held, with a dedicated leadership team of five shareholders, a Board of Directors, and a dedicated Senior Leadership Team ensuring the company stays true to its founding principles of innovation and customer focus.

As the company enters its 25th year, it continues to deliver on its purpose of delivering simple solutions to ensure customers are not overwhelmed with their data.?
