Interview with The Axel Group's Recruiter: Nicole Cirigliano
Welcome back to #MeetTheTeamMonday! Check out my interview below with The Axel Group's Recruiter, Nicole Cirigliano.
What are your areas of expertise and what does your position entail?
As a recruiter, my job is to find quality candidates and match them with the best opportunity that meets their career expectations within the Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Environmental industries. Ultimately, my goal is to improve someone's life and get them their "dream job." I am able to use my personality through the phone by always radiating positivity. You can always hear people smile!
What school did you attend/what degree did you receive?
I graduated from Monmouth University in 2021, earning a BA in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Marketing.
What do you like most about working at The Axel Group?
The culture here is unmatched. It is an environment that allows me to be my total self. Everyone here is alike, but different at the same time and I think that is what makes us so strong. The management team and all of my co-workers are so encouraging. They truly want the best for everyone and do what they can to help them succeed. That is something every business needs.
Tell me about you family, hobbies, and interests.
I grew up and still live in Old Bridge, NJ with my parents and my older sister. My family means everything to me, although we can easily get on each others' nerves, you only get one family and my sister is like a built-in bestie! When I am not working, you can most likely find me at the gym, working out or running. Eventually I would like to receive my NASM Certification to be able to do some fitness training on the side.
If you could go anywhere in the world and expense wasn't an issue, where would you go and why?
I have always wanted to backpack around Europe. There are endless things to do and there is so much to see. Every country in Europe is a work of art!
What is your favorite season and why?
Summer by far! I feel that there is so much more to do to keep busy and I love the beach.
Who is your biggest inspiration?
My older sister, Bri. She is constantly turning her dreams into reality and I admire that.
Favorite movie?
That is tough, but one on the list is A Bronx Tale.
What was your dream job as a kid?
Growing up I always wanted to be a teacher. Me, my sister and my neighbors would 'play school' all the time!
Coffee or Tea?
Always coffee - it is my daily fuel.
Would you ever go sky diving?
Yes! Skydiving has been on my bucket list for a while. Life is all about taking risks. If you never take risks, you will never know what you are capable of!
Thank you for taking the time to read my interview with Nicole Cirigliano and keep an eye out for future #MeetTheTeamMondays with The Axel Group!
