Interview With Alessio (SEA Specialist)

1) Where were you born and raised? Also tell us something unique about yourself.

I was born in Rome, Italy. Something unique about me? Since day one, my goal has always been to become a better professional, day after day.

2) What got you interested in marketing and what was your journey?

I’ve always been fascinated by the world of Digital Marketing, so like many people, I started by experimenting. After a while, I realized that the area of Digital Marketing I was most passionate about was Performance Marketing. From day one, I began working in a small agency of freelancers. That’s where I started focusing solely on Google Ads, which has become, and still is, my main strength and distinguishing skill.

3) What skills and industry do you specialize in?

I specialize specifically in the Google Ads platform. For the past year, I’ve mainly been working with lead generation clients. Our most important clients operate in the automotive sector. We are lead generation partners to leading car manufacturers such as BMW, Stellantis, Renault, and Toyota.

4) What is your best soft skill?

The ability to stay consistently up-to-date. It’s the number one soft skill in this field.

5) What softwares and tools do you use regularly?

Google Ads, WhatConverts, ChatGPT, Google Tag Manager, HubSpot, Landbot, Zapier, Learnn, Looker Studio, Google Workspace.

6) What are your goals for the next year and into the future?

The goal is always to be a better professional than I was the day before. I’ll maintain a strong focus on Google Ads and Performance Marketing, but this is also the year of Artificial Intelligence, something we can’t overlook.

7) What has been the hardest thing you dealt with in your career path?

Nothing in life comes without sacrifice. You have to challenge yourself to achieve your goals. I sacrificed two years of my life before achieving something concrete. It’s frustrating, but it’s part of the journey.

8) What is the biggest mistake you made that you want others to avoid?

In life, we often want everything immediately, but unfortunately, reality is different. The truth is that sometimes it takes years to see the results of our efforts. It’s called the Compound Effect. Today, we live too much in the culture of FOMO.

9) Who are your favorite people in the industry that you follow?

Bob Meijer, Miles McNair, Thomas Eccel, Adriaan Dekker.

10) Who has had the biggest influence on your career to date?

I think Bob Meijer and Miles McNair, through their content, have truly given me an extra boost in my career.

11) What has been your favorite course that you taken and why?

PPC Mastery, without a doubt. The technical quality of the courses is incredibly high for the price they charge.

12) What would you tell yourself or someone who is just starting out in marketing?

Here are a few quick thoughts:

1. Invest in a course that allows you to build a portfolio of practical projects.

2. Don’t rush to skip steps. Enjoy the process.

3. The important thing is to start working on practical, real projects, even small ones.

4. Knowing how to sell yourself is crucial. Whatever the industry, you are the salesperson of yourself, and you are the product to market.

13) If the entire world was listening to you, what would you have to say?

It’s better to take a risk and try than not to try at all. No regrets.

14) Where can we find you?

Linkedin.
