2024 has been a productive year for HYT Europe. From launching new brands to expanding our reach across the region, we’ve been focused on bringing exciting innovations to Europe’s riding community. One example is Felo Moto Italia , our first partnership brand to launch in Europe. Since its debut, FELO has steadily gained traction among riding enthusiasts in Italy, Spain, and beyond. More recently, LETBE Europe made its debut at this year’s EICMA, with its first product range set to hit the market in early 2025.
As this year draws to a close, we’ve invited alessandro taglioretti , the CEO of HYT Europe, to discuss his personal connection to HYT, the group’s evolution in Europe, and what’s next for our brands and partners.
In the first part of our conversation, we’ll explore the story behind HYT’s journey in Europe and take a closer look at FELO, the first brand introduced to the regional market through the group.
Q: Alessandro, let’s begin with your personal connection to HYT. How did you come to work with HYT, and why was Italy chosen as the starting point for its European journey?
A: I’ve been in the two-wheeler industry for a long while, and my connection with HYT started through professional interactions with Ann Pu, the group’s founder. Our partnership grew from a shared confidence in each other’s skills and vision. As for Italy, the decision to begin here was natural.
Passione per le moto—the passion for motorcycles—is deeply ingrained in Italian culture. Italy has a rich heritage in the two-wheeler industry and is home to some of the most iconic brands in the world.
Italy sets trends for the global industry and remains one of the largest and most dynamic markets for two-wheelers, with consumers who embrace innovation and technology at all price levels. This naturally draws manufacturers from across the globe.
Q: Could you share more about FELO, the flagship brand represented by HYT in Europe? What sets it apart, who are its customers, and which models are proving the most popular?
A: FELO offers a range of electric two-wheelers combining advanced technology with standout design that many find so appealing. The brand’s customer base spans the ages of 30s to 60s.

I believe that FELO’s appeal lies in the perfect balance of innovative features, affordability, and the undeniable cool factor.
The FW06, for instance, is a powerful, fast electric vehicle with a sporty motorcycle-inspired design. Its aesthetic appeal, combined with enhanced safety features, has made it a favorite among riders. In its turn, the M1 offers a completely different vibe with its vintage-inspired look and compact size. It’s a blueprint of nostalgia electrified and reimagined for the modern era.
Q: How can European customers purchase FELO vehicles?
A: FELO has established a strong dealership network in key regions, including Italy, Spain, France, and Germany, with plans to expand further for full European coverage. For those who prefer the convenience of online shopping, FELO also offers an e-commerce platform.
Q: Could you also expand on how FELO’s supporting Italy’s motorsport culture?
A:? For the past few years, FELO has been the title sponsor of Gresini Racing , a team that needs no introduction to motorsport fans. This is way more than just sponsorship: FELO’s founding team has a deep passion for motorsport, with a professional background in racing and dedication to creating high-performance vehicles. Since Gresini started using FELO in the paddock, FELO’s popularity skyrocketed. Endorsement from experienced racers added another cool factor, a mark of true quality and performance.?
Next year, FELO will also sponsor the SIC58 Squadra Corse team in MotoE and Moto3 championships, continuing its support for motorsports tradition and excellence.
