Interview with Adam Schrager and Madison Reading Project
Today we were thrilled to be on WISC TV with Adam Schrager to talk about Madison Reading Project and literacy on April 26. Click here to watch the whole interview. We were thrilled this past week to cross the tipping point of collecting 5000 books so far this year at our donation center. With more agencies, nonprofits and schools signing on to Madison Reading Project's book giving programs hundreds of books are going out each week.
2/3's of children in poverty do not have reading materials at home. We can provide new or lightly used books and magazines for at-risk kids to keep, read or share with their families. To get involved please visit our website, madisonreadingproject.org . There you can make a financial donation, learn how to make book donations and see the organizations involved. It takes a village to raise a village and we know kids who live in Wisconsin deserve reading materials no matter what circumstance they are in.
