Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) is a minimally invasive procedure that combines endoscopic and X-ray fluoroscopic techniques. From a purely diagnostic technique, ERCP has developed into a comprehensive technique mainly for treatment, which mainly includes: cholangiopancreatography, endoscopicsphincterotomy (EST), lithotripsy of bile duct and pancreatic duct stones, dilatation of bile duct and pancreatic duct stenosis, nasocholangiopancreatic drainage, and so on. China's ERCP technology started in the early 1970s, after half a century of development and promotion, has become an important means of diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic and biliary diseases.
The pancreaticobiliary duct is surrounded by the liver, stomach, duodenum and other organs. Due to the complexity of treating pancreaticobiliary diseases. Besides complete removal of the lesions, maximum protection of organs, damage control and rapid recovery are the directions of modern hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery.
Intraoperative X-ray imaging provides doctors with real-time surgical view and plays an important role in ERCP treatment. Perlove Medical is committed to the research, development, production and sales of medical imaging equipment to meet different clinical needs. In order to support complex endoscopic surgery, Perlove Medical has launched the flat-panel interventional C-arm systems. The C-arm systems have the high-performance imaging capabilities required to perform minimally invasive procedures such as ERCP and provide clear real-time images during the procedure to assist doctors in accurate treatment.
Through serving overseas medical institutions, participating in international medical assistance projects, and carrying out academic exchanges, Perlove Medical brings China's medical imaging equipment and ERCP technology development achievements to broader overseas markets so that minimally invasive interventions can benefit more patients.
Advantages of flat panel C-arm systems for interventions in ERCP procedures
Large flat panel, large field of view
The large-size (30 cm*30 cm) flat panel detector can provide a larger surgical FOV, enabling the doctor to comprehensively observe the situation of the tissues around the pancreatic and biliary ducts.
Clear image, precise treatment
Perlove's flat panel C-arm systems for interventions can provide high-definition clinical images to help doctors more accurately determine the location, size, and shape of the lesion and finish precise surgery.
Intelligent operation, convenient and efficient
The C-arm system is equipped with motorized five-dimensional motion control. The flat panel detector can be raised and lowered, and the SID can be adjusted to make the detector closer to the exposed site so as to obtain clearer images. The system is equipped with a special tableside controller for intervention, which is convenient for parameter adjustment during the operation.
