Intership at Oasisinfobyte

I am thrilled to share the successful completion of my one-month virtual internship with Oasis Infobyte. This invaluable experience has significantly contributed to my growth in the field of Data Analytics, providing me with a diverse set of tasks to enhance my skills. Hey everyone! Just wrapped up an exciting journey during my internship, and I can’t wait to share the highlights with you.

Task 1: Air bnb Hotel Booking Analysis

So, the first challenge was all about making sure our data was on point. We kicked off with Data Integrity — a fancy way of saying we wanted our data to be accurate, consistent, and reliable. No room for errors here! Then came the part where we played detective with the data — Missing Data Handling. We had to figure out how to deal with gaps in our info, making sure it was all complete. And oh, the joy of finding and getting rid of twins — Duplicate Removal was key to keeping our data unique. To top it off, we standardized everything, ensuring a consistent format for smooth analysis. And of course, we had to be detectives again — this time, spotting and dealing with Outliers that could throw off our analysis.

Task 2: Retail Sales Data Fun

Next up, we jumped into the world of retail sales. First things first — we had to get our hands on the data and make sure it was squeaky clean with Data Loading and Cleaning. Crunching numbers, we did some basic math with Descriptive Statistics — mean, median, mode, and the gang. Then, we put on our time-traveling hats for Time Series Analysis, unraveling sales trends over time. Getting to know our customers and products better, we dove into Customer and Product Analysis. And because pictures speak louder than numbers, we painted a story with Visualization, using bar charts, line plots, and heatmaps. Finally, we wrapped it up with some wise Recommendations based on our explorations.

Task 3: Predicting House Prices — The Crystal Ball Experiment

The grand finale took us into the realm of prediction. Armed with our magical dataset, we started with Data Collection, ensuring we had all the right ingredients for our prediction stew. After a bit of exploration and cleaning — Data Exploration and Cleaning, we picked out the superstar features for our prediction model — Feature Selection. With our magician hats on, we unleashed the power of Linear Regression through a machine learning library. And of course, we had to put our model to the test with a separate dataset — Model Evaluation. Numbers are cool, but visuals are cooler, so we spiced it up with some Visualization, showcasing the dance between predicted and actual values.
