Interrupt The Stress Cycle

Interrupt The Stress Cycle

Do you sometimes feel like you're running on a hamster wheel of stress, where each day piles on more pressure than the last?

You’re not alone, my friend.

You see, stress is our body's alarm system, alerting us to respond to challenges.

However, all too often, we may find ourselves reacting impulsively, trapped in a vicious cycle that leaves our brain fatigued and unable to gracefully handle life's pressures.

Repeated stress can blur our focus, lead to unhealthy coping strategies, and even diminish our capacity for empathy.

But the good news is, there’s a healthier way to navigate it all.

Introducing: Our Mako Method Framework? ??

We've created a set of evidence-based practices to help you interrupt the cycle of chronic stress and support your response to life's challenges with clarity and calm.

Here are our practices? ??

?? Gratitude: Practicing gratitude can enhance feelings of happiness and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, empowering you to remain more resilient in tough times.

?? Affirmations: Speaking positively to and about yourself can support a healthier mindset and add to feelings of happiness.?

?? Static & Moving Breathwork: Breathing and movement can help release the stress stored in your body.?

?? Journaling: Putting a pen to paper can help with managing overwhelming thoughts and emotions. This can also help with gaining a new perspective on your inner world.

?? Perspective Building: This is being intentional with how you view and respond to challenges. You have the power to change how you see and react to things, even if you can't control them.

Now, you might be thinking: I don’t have time for this. ??

And I get it, but don’t worry! These practices are designed to easily include into your day, offering moments of calm and resilience amidst the chaos.

Even just a couple minutes a day can be helpful for you to lessen tension.

Remember, consistency is key. The more you incorporate these practices into your daily routine, the better you'll become at responding to stress rather than reacting impulsively.

As you use them throughout your day, they may help disrupt the "stress-react" cycle, allowing you to pause, reflect, and choose a more harmonious response.

Also, if you’re looking for practices you can start doing, we have over 50 actionable tips for managing stress using the Mako Method Framework? here! ??

Feel free to download and use it for yourself.

We also have a Youtube video where I dive deeper into our framework and how I came up with it. Watch it now! ??

Let these practices be your guide, and watch as you navigate through life's challenges with newfound grace and resilience.

Take a deep breath. You've got this.
