Interpersonal relationships at work: a reality or a challenge?

Are you the kind of person who have already had a certain kind of problem when it comes to develop a good relationship with your colleagues at work? Did you know that this problem is most commonly seen at firms independently of theirs segment of actuation? If your answer was yes than congratulations because you are not the only person in the world who has already passed through a situation in the past. Of course that we area all looking for a better world where we can leave in harmony in borth our personal and professional lives. It is very important to have a good relationship with your colleagues at work principally with the ones who care grom the same team of yours, it is indeed something true but is it a reality in many firms, is it what we see? I don't know the people who are reading this article right now but imagine yourself in the following situation: you are brand new in the company you are going to work at and suddenly you find yourself without any kind of professional experience or previous work knowledge, it is a challenge that you are facing, isn't it? Of course it is. So, I have always been told by my professors that no matter how hard you study at university and receive a good grade from a discipline. When you are at the marketing facing the real thing it is something completely different from what you learned at the university from what you put into practice at work, there are many problems in paradise.

Continuing with the previous situation, imagine nobody having too much patience to explain your activites or not wanting to give any kind of assistance to you no matter if you commited a mistake in only one thing it is like hitting 99% from everything you did and being crucified by the 1% that you didn't hit. The world out there is exactly like this so if you are new at the firm with in a position of an intern or of a junior analyst or even a trainee there will alaways be people who will make everything to see you fail on everything you do simply because they are afraid you might take their jobs for good which is something so ridiculous to think about because those people are much more experienced than you on what they do that with only a few months of experience it is something basically impossible for you to accomplish with only one, two, three or even six months of experience. The problem is that there are many managers nowadays that think that you should start working with all the knowledge you should have of the company without even knowing how the precedures are being conducted or how things work. No matter how much knowledge you have or even how many years of experience you have of work if you are starting at a new company with a new team the way things are done differs from industry to industry and this is something people simply don't understand.

The problem is that those people have the thought that once they have already explained what has to be done, it is something that the person must learn at first without asking and having doubts about what was had been taught which is something simply risiculous to think about it is like a professor at school who is teaching mathematics for theirs students for the very first time, the students are going to have many doubts, this is obvious, I don't know a single person that during their learning period didn't have doubts about what was being taught to them the same thing is applied to the firms, there has to be someone explaining in detail and being a support for everyone because I start from the following assumption: the same way you are starting, you have condiditions to grow at the firm and succeed on what you do it is the same chance your manager the senior and PL analysts had when they first started at the firm as well but the problem is that when those people finally get the positions they have always wanted to have it is simply something they easily forget once they sit on their chairs and start to belittle the ones who are below them and simply forget that once they started the same way the junior, the trainee and the intern is starting as well and that's really sad to think about.

So, unfortunately there are certain kinds of situations in which the coexistance became such an impossible thing to be acquired once the other part doens't want to cooperate with your face and start to label you with things they think about you and don't give you a chance to even get a little bit more closer to them which makes the harmony at work becomes unsustainable for you to keep yourself in there and even the daily work becaomes such a painful thing to be done and the worst thing of it all is that these people simply start to unite themselves to make you feel uncomfortable to stay in the team you are working with and make you get to the conclusion that you are don't belong to that team by isolating you, not talking to you during calls or even start to criticize your work because they don't belive on anything you are sent them which takes off all of your credibility as a professional. Difficult situation, isn't it? So, my advice or you is that there is nothing better than laying your head on the pillow knowing that you everything you could and gave your best, and that's enough, do you understand? That has to be enough for you. Acknowledge yourself for what you do for first. Keep in mind that if we are making our parts, this is what truly matters and that the other things that don't depend on us, there is nothing we can do, we don't change anyone we change ourselves an the lessons we take from every situation we pass through.
