Interpersonal Neurobiology
Every moment when you are interacting with someone, your mind and body is syncing with their mind and body. when they are feeling closed off, you are feeling closed off too. When they are feeling stressed, you are likely feeling stressed too. You don't operate as individual; you are operating as part of a relationship with whoever you are engaging with. This is called interpersonal neurobiology which is concept developed by Dr. San Siegel that refers to our existence as both individuals and humans in relationship with one another.
