Internship Experience at LetsGrowMore

I'm writing to share my experience as a Data Analytics Intern for LetsGrowMore's Virtual Internship Program (VIP) in December 2021.

I'd want to express my gratitude to @Aman Kesarwani and @LetsGrowMore for providing me with this incredible opportunity to improve my talents and contribute to such incredible projects.

LGMVIP: An Overview

LGMVIP is a 4-week Virtual Internship Program that offers internships in a variety of fields such as Android Development, Web Development, Data Science, Campus Ambassadors, and more.

We were given three levels of tasks to complete in this Data Analytics Internship, out of which at least 2 were required to complete the internship and get LetsGrowMore certification :

1. Beginner Level

2. Intermediate Level

3. Advance Level

As a result of completing my four tasks, I am very happy and the tasks I completed were as follows:

01-Beginner level task :- Image to Pencil Sketch with Python

We need to read the image in RBG format and then convert it to a grayscale image. This will turn an image into a classic black and white photo. Then the next thing to do is invert the grayscale image also called negative image, this will be our inverted grayscale image. Inversion can be used to enhance details. Then we can finally create the pencil sketch by mixing the grayscale image with the inverted blurry image. This can be done by dividing the grayscale image by the inverted blurry image. Since images are just arrays, we can easily do this programmatically using the divide function from the cv2 library in Python.

02-Intermediate level task :- Exploratory Data Analysis on Dataset - Terrorism

As a security/defense analyst, try to find out the hot zone of terrorism.We can choose any of the tool of your choice.

I enjoyed my time at LetsGrowMore as a Data Analytics intern. The overall internship experience was awesome. The company provided all the guidance and support I needed.

It would boost your confidence level to a high level and would surely give you the opportunity to work on some projects to show hands-on experience on internship for gaining a job endorsement in the future. I recommend this internship to anyone who is struggling for the opportunity to gain some knowledge and work on some projects.
