Internship at DISCORDIA: An Endless Road of Learning

The annual internship program of DISCORDIA Transport & Logistics has already started and we аre happy to share with you what our first wave of interns learned during their 1 month stay at the company.

The internship program at DISCORDIA is highly valued for its diversity and real business experience the younglings can gain even in a short period. Interns have the opportunity to work in different departments, obtaining a comprehensive understanding of the organisation. Let’s see what our interns shared about their experience at DISCORDIA!?

This is Silviya Tacheva . During her internship at the company in the Operations Department, she gained valuable knowledge and insights related to transportation and the operations of large organisations. She had the opportunity to work in various departments and found the internship program very useful and interesting. As per her words, she enjoyed her experience in the "Transport Administration" and "Driver Management" departments, where she gained practical experience and encountered real-life cases. She expressed her consideration of working at DISCORDIA due to the organization's respect for opinions and ideas, as well as the numerous growth opportunities available. Silviya would definitely recommend the internship to those interested in the transportation business or seeking clarity about their career path, as it provides a chance to explore different departments and assess personal interest and comfort in the field.

We introduce you to another intern from the Operations department - Anna-Kristina Georgieva Takova! During her internship at DISCORDIA, she gained valuable experience and further developed herself in the field of Engineering Logistics. She had the opportunity to actively participate in various activities in different departments, and she appreciated the guidance and support from the trainers and employees. Anna-Kristina felt positive about her time at the company.?

During her internship at DISCORDIA in the HR Department, Venislava Ilieva gained practical experience and developed her skills in the field of Human Resources and Recruitment. She chose DISCORDIA for its leadership position in Bulgaria and the opportunities it offers to young professionals. Venislava appreciated the immersive nature of the internship, the motivation and friendliness of the team, and the positive working atmosphere. And our last intern in the first phase of the program is Viktoria, who spent June in the Rewards and Benefits department. She chose to intern at DISCORDIA due to her interest in the company and our HR team’s great impressions at her interview.?

'What made me happy and impressed was the fact that I received real experience and practical knowledge during my stay at DISCORDIA. The organization of the internship program was great. I felt amazing at the company. The people were friendly and spent a lot of time explaining to me the work processes. We had to prepare presentations that boosted our self-confidence and that will help us for sure in a practical matter in the future', highlighted Victoria.
