Internship at Daifuku

Internship at Daifuku

Over the past few months, I've been fortunate enough to be part of the Daifuku team, a global leader in innovative material handling solutions. As an IT Analyst Intern, I was able to dive headfirst into the world of cutting-edge technology and gained hands-on experience in various aspects of IT operations.

The Daifuku name is synonymous with materials handling, warehousing, and Supply Chain automation. The company's roots can be traced back to the first Assembly line used by Henry Ford's Model T Assembly. Their products vary from Airport baggage handling to Semiconductor manufacturing facilities. Working in a company with such a wide range of products helped me gain a new perspective on Machine learning and Business Intelligence.

Throughout my internship, I worked alongside a team of talented professionals passionate about making a difference by streamlining processes and building products that immensely impacted the business.

The experience has been transformative for me professionally and personally. From honing my technical skills to understanding the dynamics of a fast-paced corporate environment, I've grown in ways I never thought possible. Working on real-time projects solidified my understanding between academia and real-world applications.

I want to thank the Daifuku family for their unwavering support, guidance, and encouragement. The learning opportunities were boundless, and I'm incredibly grateful to the mentors who invested their time in nurturing my growth.

A massive shoutout to my Senior manager?DeVon Lewis, and my Manager Cristian Ferreyra, for giving me this opportunity and all the exposure I needed to showcase and improve my business skills. I want to thank Pramod Das for introducing me to Daifuku and its multitude of operations. I also would like to thank Emily Naudi for the seamless onboarding experience. I want to thank?Bill Hefley, Ph.D., COP, CMBE, and?Fatima Raad?for being the best in helping students succeed in their careers.
