Internship Complete!

Now that summer is over I can finally reflect on my amazing experience at Five9!!!! I had a negative mindset of working in corporate culture when I first entered , but the reviews on Glassdoor were just so appealing and guess what? The reviews were accurate! I have to say I have never worked in such a culture like this company. Everyone was so great to work with and the experience I had at this company doesn't compare to any other one I have ever worked with. As an intern I felt like part of the team within the first week of being there and that's how it should be! I felt the diversity, I felt the belonging, and I felt the chemistry there which made me so eager to come to work every day.

I also learned so much! From when a candidate got selected, to having an interview, to attending new hire orientation, to onboarding I got to see the behind the scenes of how it all connects. Through the different benefits options of what an employee can choose from whether it's health, life insurance, or investment options was all new material I learned and had to implement. Working through the test system in Ultipro and teaming with IT to resolve errors was a huge project that was ongoing when I got there and we achieved so much since then!

In summary, I have to say I am glad I chose this company to #intern for. I woudn't have it any other way. I worked with great people, made long lasting professional relationships, and took all my experience in like a sponge. I hopefully left my mark at such an amazing place!
