Internet Radio Hosts, I need your Help!!
Dear Fellow TALK Show Hosts, I am re-posting this as I realized the link to connect with me was broken, so if you tried to reach out, I am so sorry and humbly ask that you please do so again. Also I haven't heard from any of you and I KNOW there are a ton of you out there. :)
I SO appreciate all the folks who clicked LIKE, but what I really hope is that you go beyond that and if you are an Internet Radio Hosts please respond and answer only what you feel comfortable answering.
Ok, you are probably wondering 'Whats the catch'? Like I write below, no ulterior motive other than research, and my own nature to understand what drives people. :)
There are many internet radio stations out there with a multitude of shows. Some stations feature only COACHES, others feature, SPIRITUAL Hosts, then there's the BUSINESS Radio and, Hobbyists, Social Media Experts and Paranormal. Some stations specialize while others offer variety.
There are stations that start at 29.00 a month and stations that cost upwards of 10,000.thousand a year. I want to understand ( maybe you do too) what is the VALUE ( if any) in the stations that charge more? Does less equal more? Is your show for fun or profit? Are you getting out of it what you hoped and dreamed? We all do radio for different reasons, and its a medium I love and get excited about waking up to every day.
I would love a moment of your time to answer a few questions about Internet Radio Stations. I PROMISE , I am NOT Selling anything, or trying to recruit anyone, this is purely for research purposes. Research that I promise to share if you would like it. I am looking to see how many Internet Stations I can find, what makes one Talk show host choose one station over another, What each stations value proposition is, the differences in pricing structure, and if possible, who their listening audience or target market is.
So, if you would like to help, please email me [email protected] and answer what you are comfortable answering.
1, What station are you on..If you want to share- The name of your Show.
2 How long have you been on air? Do you broadcast LIVE or Podcast?
3. Why did you choose the station you are on? Cool name? price? coaching? engineer? Audience? What was their unique selling proposition for you?
4. How much do they charge \monthly/yr. *Have you been able to find sponsors or advertisers to offset your costs?
5. Do you have an Engineer or Producer for your show as provided by host?
6. Do you know who your station markets too? Boomers, genx, etc
Thanks in advance for helping a fellow host out. Cheers..frankie

9 年Hello Frankie. Came to read your post then realised I didn't have my own Radio Station. Mind you, those questions are almost enough to make me want to go out and start a radio station, today and without delay. Why stop there! I'll go live and then thehobb.tv will live up to its name (well, the TV bit). In the meantime, I shall continue to listen to interbet radio. At the moment, I'm tuning (or subjecting) my ears to https://www.internet-radio.com/stations/psychedelic/ Ongoing best thoughts <*))))>< Grant
