Era Of Internet

At present internet is just like air, it's everywhere! Moreover one shouldn’t be too surprised if someone says that it has become as essential as air is. Today people can pass days without other things but that’s not possible without internet.

So it's quite obvious those who know how to use internet effectively are controlling the audience. Those who know how to play rightly with internet are one of the most influential in today's world. If you want to grow either personally or professionally, you are going to need one thing for sure and that is internet.

Today internet is the most efficient way to reach to the hearts of masses, people's mind, and also their pocket. Internet has made communication a lot easier, which is a key factor to win the hearts of people. Without any geographical, cultural and religious barrier it provides us a means to communicate with each and everyone. Apart from this internet has become a tool for influencers to reach deep into the minds of people. For example social media platforms are the best way to influence people and mobilize the masses. Also businesses can be taken to every segment of market and customers easily in the most effective way to garner maximum profits. Internet is the real epitome of globalization. These days economic activities, be it small scale or large scale require internet directly or indirectly to thrive the competition and the present market scenario. It also allows new creative business ideas to come up, present themselves and perform in front of others.

Internet has changed every aspect of life viz. strategy of business, health, education, even our way to talk with loved ones. Today everything is just on the other side of one click. Internet has brought the classrooms to the homes, taken businesses to every market, opinions to the people. Internet gives freedom to people to express equally, to share, to raise voice, to unite. Success of primary government objectives i.e. health, education, security and development etc. too relies heavily on internet.

Internet has removed all the barriers, it's a new kind of Democracy - it gives us platform to speak and put our point forward, to protest in a peaceful manner and communicate with anyone. Internet has made things more transparent, it has made decision making easy. In a way its an ultimate empowering tool.

Let me ask one thing, what will you do to disconnect yourself from the world?

I am sure that 90% of the answers will be same "will disconnect from internet". Has anyone ever noticed how we suddenly raise question on someone's existence if he/she disappears for some days from our internet/social media network!  Internet has given totally new form to communication. It has made communication so easy, internet has removed all barriers. Internet is not just a technology anymore, people have attached their feelings with it and it has become a kind of new language to interact with people.

Recently I was listing the things I able do without internet starting from morning right upto the time when I get into the bed to sleep at night. I was astonished to realise that 95% of my activities and things depend upon the internet. Another thing I observed was that 60% of my work is not even possible without internet. So this pretty much explains how much our dependency on internet is. Therefore the key to be in demand, to succeed and to survive in today’s time is the “internet”.

Hence earlier the role of internet was limited to information exchange only but today internet is not only concerned with information exchange, but internet is essential to every personal and professional activity. It won’t be an exaggeration to say that- it’s the Aladdin’s Genie of our times which has power to fulfil all our wishes!
