International Women's Week - Michaela White
Blank Page Marketing, LLC
A dedicated, ag-centric team focused on collaboration and start-from-scratch ideas.
This week, in celebration of #internationalwomensday on March 8, we’re featuring some of our members. Today, you’ll meet Michaela White, a member of our design team. Michaela loves applying her creativity to each project she’s assigned and appreciates the diversity of voices at Blank Page.
Question: What do you do at BLNKPG?
Michaela: I am an art director. Based on the client, their direction and what their goals are, I help them decide how everything is going to look and how we can push boundaries to help their content stick out.
Question: Why this job?
Michaela: I’ve always been a very creative person, and I like being part of a creative process. It’s fun to be able to help guide brands and businesses into the direction that I think will help them the best, as well as engage in that creative freedom that I have always yearned for.
Question: How does working for a woman-owned business differ from other businesses where you’ve worked?
Michaela: There is a lot more empowerment as far as voices being heard, and not just from the female perspective. It definitely feels way more open and inviting than anything I’ve experienced before.
Question: What advice would you give to young women entering the workforce?
Michaela: Always advocate for yourself. It’s okay to be loud. It’s okay to be present. It’s okay to stand out. Be seen.
