International Women's day

We regularly witness in the media the accomplishments and highlights of iconic women and their shattering of the proverbial glass ceiling. What we need to see more of is women supporting and empowering other women. Too often achievements are highlighted as a single woman rising to new heights within male-dominated environments, but we need to challenge those accomplished women to pull up their fellow female colleagues through the ranks and serve as powerful role models and mentors.
