In light of the findings by the Personal Finance Club, it's noteworthy that between 2012 and 2022, 92% of S&P 500 companies were led by male executives. However, the same study indicates a striking trend: companies with female CEOs significantly outperformed their male-led counterparts, with a remarkable performance difference of +384% vs. +261% over the decade.

Women are still under-represented at the highest corporate levels, despite their undoubted talent for management!

Should investors exclusively favor stocks with female CEOs?

No, as the future of the market remains uncertain. Nonetheless, we are hopeful that this gender imbalance will change in the near future and all forms of diversity will be prevalent at the highest levels of leadership.
