International Women's Day is an opportunity to unite, network and rally together for meaningful change. For some, IWD is about fighting for rights, while others resonate the day with celebrating success.

In celebration of IWD, we went for a drive with Dr Amy and her 992 911 GT3 around the streets of Surry Hills.

Dr Amy is the owner and Medical Director at TCMA - The Centre for Medical Aesthetics in Edgecliff, NSW. When Dr Amy took the leap to open her own clinic, she set herself a goal to focus on growing a clinic that allows her to educate and empower woman – she is an International key opinion leader and enjoys spending some of her time teaching other medical professionals on best practice and providing leading patient care.

Not only a powerhouse in her day-to-day clinic life, Dr Amy is a PCSS track day regular. Her track weapon of choice being a black on black, 992 911 GT3. We asked Dr Amy why she opted for the GT3?

“How could I not!?A combination of power and elegance. I’m able to use incredible engineering in situations where my focus and skills are absolutely required every second - like the ethos I work to every day. Steady hands in the clinic, steady hands on track.?At the same time, I love being able to drive my Porsche to work on occasion and on weekends of course!” says Dr Amy.?

Dr Amy prides herself on building a community based on trust and choice. By pushing boundaries to ensure her clients are blazing their own trails.

“If I could give advice - I’d say be the master of your own destiny.?It will take work, you’ll have your bad days - your bad years - but keep going, and you will be able to build the life you envision for yourself.”

“I did shift a bit in my career path, but I found something I love doing, built a clinic that aligns with my values and hoped it would resonate with people.?Each day I go into work and meet patients who show me the hard work is worth it.?The gratitude goes both ways!”

Dr Amy’s journey with PCSS began in 2020 when she purchased her first 991.2 GT3. From her first day of Porsche ownership, Dr Amy knew that it was the luxury automotive brand that aligned best with her professional and personal character. Dr Amy has partaken (and proven competitive) in several track events around Australia including the Porsche Track Experience in QLD. Dr Amy tells us why PCSS feels like a second home to her “Driving into PCSS gives me a certain sense of calmness. I can see the working forces behind the scenes that help deliver exceptional client service. It’s the people that embody the spirit of Porsche – it’s not just a dealership, it’s so much more, it feels like family” says Dr Amy.

Here at Porsche Centre Sydney South, we encourage important conversations. We strive for the Rising Female, and we celebrate success in every form. Purchasing a Porsche is an empowering move, we are grateful for our growing female client community. With an abundance of inspiration behind each female Porsche owner, we celebrate all Woman with Drive for International Woman’s Day 2023.?
