In a few years, if the women's movement gives real strength to the common woman, then this woman is the protector of the feminist movement, said Honorary President of Stree Aadhaar Center and Deputy Speaker of the Maharashtra Legislative Council Dr Neelam Gorhe.

Stree Aadhaar Kendra on the eve of International Women’s Day today organized an online seminar on “Contribution of administration, media and society in preventing violence against women.’’ She said that on Wednesday a resolution will be passed in the legislature regarding women's policy and this program.

While giving information about the ongoing program of the World Commission on Women, Gorhe added that, 'A total of 800 seminars are being held in New York. These programs will be based on education and useful practices in the age of technology. Actually 15 to 20 thousand women are going to participate in this. Accordingly, Stree Aadhaar Center is conducting a program. Women from many places in Maharashtra should participate in this. She advised women to live with happiness without worrying about anything.

Senior Journalist Rahi Bhide said, "Newspapers in Maharashtra have played a very important role in shaping public opinion. Newspapers gave strength to many political parties and social movements.’’

Senior police officer Priyanka Narnvare spoke about the need for equality between men and women and the mentality of oppressing women should be understood.

Vijaya Shinde, who has been working through Stree Aadhaar Center for many years in the field of women, shared her experiences of working for women in rural areas. She added that the guidance received through Stree Aadhaar Center was useful for this purpose.

Meera Kothe from Pathardi taluka of Ahmednagar district shared her experiences of work done for women. She He narrated her experiences while working as an anganwadi worker. She said that while providing psychological support to distressed women, the process is going on through many kinds of experiences.

Journalist Pritha Veer said, 'If there is an incident of violence against women, it is necessary to raise voice against the possible circumstances behind it and the perverse mentality of the society. It is a good thing that women are now starting to raise their voices instead of just sitting around tolerating it like before.’’
